At Perfect Circle Poi we believe spinning is a fun, creative, visually exciting and sociable activity which brings people together from all ages and walks of life.
Our Beginners, Intermediate and Fire Dancing Performance and Choreography Poi Spinning Courses are designed to ensure that our students learn in a relaxed, fun and friendly environment and participants are given all the support they need to become accomplished spinners. Our tutors are experienced spinners and teachers and are dedicated to helping students maximise their potential by breaking down each move simply and easily.
We encourage our students to practise the tricks and moves they have learnt in our classes in their spare time, so that time spent in our sessions is maximised. To support this, we organise free Poi in the Park Jam Sessions around London in easily accessible locations for our students, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to practise their spinning techniques together with their peers and friends.
Our Workshops are fun, dynamic and intensive and are designed to be creative, interactive and team building. They are tailored to suit the event, Skill level/Age of the participants and individual requirements of the organisers and can be performed at either indoor or outdoor events.
Our Shows and Performances are highly visual, exciting and dynamic and fuse Circus skills with Dance and Poi Spinning, choreographed to high energy sounds from tribal beats to funky dance music.
We love spinning and hope our enthusiasm and joy of this beautiful art form is contagious!

About Mandy
Mandy Clark studied Acting and Drama teaching at Queensland University of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Education (Drama) in 1995. She then became Head of the Performing Arts Department as a specialist in Dance and Drama at Bundamba High School in Australia and was one of the youngest people to be invited to become a Dance Board Member of the Met-West Region for the Queensland Board of Secondary Studies. In 1998, Mandy was accepted to study Dance at the University of Western Sydney, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts (Contemporary Dance). Upon moving to London after graduation, she taught Dance and Drama extensively throughout the UK at a variety of primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities as well as consulting and teaching at a school for autistic students in London and working as a freelance choreographer, dancer, actor and performer in a variety of shows and festivals in both the UK and Australia. Mandy discovered Poi Spinning in 2003 and began teaching Poi Spinning for Apex in London before establishing Perfect Circle Poi in 2007.

The Courses are really great value for money - each class is 2 hours long and the venues are lovely - large, bright, clean and easily accessible with full facilities. There are many poi spinners in London, people with amazing knowledge and talent but unless this person has the ability to pass on that knowledge to others through teaching, it doesn't mean anything!
